ESN Semmelweis

ESN Semmelweis was established in 2009. Since then we set up a great team which has approximately 30 active members. ESN Semmelweis supports about 100 incoming students from all over the world and now we are planning to involve the English and German classes too. We consider it our mission to make sure that foreign students feel themselves comfortable in Hungary, that they return home with happy memories of their stay here and they spread the good reputation of our university wherever they go.

We organize every year the main ESN events: Infoday, Welcome Ceremony, Eurodinner, Budapest Hunting. These programs are added with several cultural, social and entertainment events. Our university’s main profile is the health care professions for this reason we try to emphasize sports & nature. These actions are primarily designed for foreign students and their tandem pairs but other students of the university can also join us.

We are planning to get more sponsors with which we can make the ESN Card more attractive. In this case the first action is to survey the exchange students’ needs.

In the future we want to focus more on the knowledge transfer system and team buildings. We’re happy to welcome the EDUK8 project!
